Ghost Chrome® contains the smallest particle makeup of any metallic coating available. These extra small particles allow for a perfect orientation on the surface giving you the truest metal looks of any metallic paint available today.
Ghost Chrome® can be found on a variety of OEM applications ranging from BMW wheels to Mercedes as well as Ford parts. Ghost Chrome® can be applied with any standard spray gun, no special equipment needed. It is a ready to spray mid-coat that should be applied over shades of gray ranging from light gray to black. However, it may be applied over any color basecoat to achieve metal type reflections and will remain transparent enough to show the underlying base color.

For the look of brushed aluminum, try scuffing the clear coat in long striations, before applying the Ghost Chrome. After apply the ghost Chrome over that, it will look just like brushed aluminum. Then proceed as normal, per this application guide. For engine turn look, you can use a small circle of sand paper, and attach this to a small drill, or similar device, and “spin” circles into the clear coat. After applying the Ghost chrome over that….it will look just like engine turn aluminum.
